Master’s and PhD Career Development Week
If you’d like a job, then the Master’s and PhD Career Development Week is for you, regardless of whether you haven’t started thinking about a career or are already hitting the pavement. This week-long series of events is designed to help graduate students and postdoctoral scholars explore career options outside of academia, prepare application materials, learn powerful networking techniques, and master the interview.
The week opens with a Career Exploration Panel on Monday the 27th from 5-7pm: come learn from industry experts who have already made the transition from academia to industry.
An Industry Mixer caps off the week on Thursday the 30th, from 4-6pm. Employ what you’ve learned to make connections with top-tier companies searching for talent.

- The Academic Integrity Office is currently looking for caring, responsible, and enthusiastic students to join our team as Integrity Peer Educators! Integrity Peer Educators take part in a variety of activities, from helping to facilitate seminars and advising students, to taking part in outreach events. They have opportunities to develop their communication, presentation, organization, and leadership skills; alongside having a lot of fun and bonding with a close group of other peer educators! This is a CCR approved professional development opportunity as well as a way to make friends, help your fellow students, and be a part of something on campus. If you have at least one year remaining at UCSD and a desire to learn, grow, and get more involved on our campus, becoming an Integrity Peer Educator may be right for you!
