  • Scholarly Communications Summer Institute: Interested in improving your scientific and scholarly communication? The Library is hosting the FSCI2018 on Jul 30-Aug 3 and you can get $150 off using the codes “UCSD-ORA” or “UCSD”. Register here and see the course list here.
  • The Writing + Critical Expression Hub is offering a new daily writing group Monday through Thursday, 9-10:30am. Don’t forget that they also offer one-on-one writing tutoring appointments.
  • 2018 Commencement: New this year—commencement will be split into two ceremonies: one for Master’s students and one for Doctoral & MFA students. Also, students completing their degrees in Summer 2018 can participate in the 2018 Commencement! Register by May 24!
  • TreeCulture is looking for student interns to work on tree resource management and wildfire hazard reduction. See the flyer here and here for more details. Interns have the opportunity to work in Summer 2018, Fall 2018, and Winter 2019.
