- Apply for the Graduate Specialization in Critical Gender Studies: Application open Nov 6 – Dec 8. Rigorously interdisciplinary and forward-thinking, UCSD’s Critical Gender Studies program has spent decades educating and challenging undergraduates through the study of gender, sexuality, and racial formation. The graduate specialization was added in 2016 to enable graduate students to enhance their research on gender as linked to race, sexuality and other social formations. The program encourages applications from graduate students in participating departments whose work takes up questions of gender. To apply, visit cgs.ucsd.edu.
